Pastor Harley Williams

What We Believe

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died and rose again for our sins according to the scriptures as a substitutionary sacrifice and that all who believe on Him are justified by faith in His shed blood on the cross, and are saved by grace through faith, wholly apart from human merit or works. We further believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture nor the doctrines of the church. (John 3:16, Rom. 5:8, Rom. 6:23)

We believe in the resurrection of our Lord, His ascension into heaven, and that He is preparing a place for us. We believe that Christ can return for the saved at any moment and He will take them to be with Him forever. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are lost unto eternal damnation and they that are saved unto eternal life. (I Cor. 15:52, I Thes 4:16-17)
